Two books came to mind: Hooked. and Inspired. Both elude the ideas behind the dark and ingenious strategies that brands such as TikTok, Instagram, Reddit use to keep us mindlessly scrolling while our legs go numb or coffee gets cold.
Well, this opened up a lot of things I haven't thought of. I am someone who can be really hard on myself and not enjoy anything, but then I try to find ways that are even more fulfilling, a bit of music, a lot of reading, and personal projects, and I just want to start painting.
Loved this line:
